Well, I finished Chernobyl this weekend.

The show is excellent, isn't it? I finished it this weekend. I remember Chernobyl very well myself. I would tune in to the evening news each day. Back then in the States we had a late night news program called Nightline. I'd watch that as well. Those Nightline clips are still up on the internet.

The scene on the bridge with floating ash was so beautiful and so heartbreaking. I finished university a couple of years before. One of my childhood friends went with me and was a nuclear engineering major. I chose another engineering program. I always thought mankind wasn't quite ready for nuclear science. Many lessons to learn, but those lessons are catastrophic.

(sorry for formatting; I'm on a phone.)

It’s become officially the greatest t.v. Series ever, highest ranked on IMDB

Extremely traumatic, beautifully made!

I watched it this weekend having seen this review and others, and agree: absolutely brilliant, and also absolutely bloody terrifying. All those people just following their own self-interest within a system that was supposed to be for the benefit of the people, but was structured to punish and hide failure. Arghhh!
