Back home from my biz/vacay trip to Sweden and Norway. Had a fabulous time. Both countries are absolutely stunning. Loved the whole vibe of Scandinavia. Felt so at home. Absolutely loved Stockholm. It's just so interesting -- love all the different islands, the ferries -- such beautiful green spaces everywhere you turn. Bergen was nice -- the fjord tour was amazing. My pictures don't do it justice. Everyone had told me it would be cold, ha; I was so hot. The sun was beating down on the boat and I'm totally sunburned. It was actually National Day in Norway when I visited. Everyone was dressed up in their traditional clothes. The evening torch parade was interesting -- nothing like seeing the townspeople marching past the boats on the wharf carrying torches (reminded me of the Feanorians for some reason) and made me feel like going out and plundering and marauding!
