Running behind here! When I saw the prompt for commenting on an exchange, I immediately thought of the Tolkien Secret Santa Exchange. Thought I didn't participate directly, I loved seeing all the wonderful stories and art posted. It's a great exchange.

One story that I particularly liked was One Step Closer by NelyafinweFeanorion (maedhrosrussandol on Tumblr), written for @rosengreen.

It's a great story describing how Maitimo and Findekano grew close while Maitimo was tutoring Findekano. I really like how Finwë's thoughts of what they had to forsake when coming to Valinor was woven in, and Finwë's desire to speak with Maitimo to reassure and support him.

Well, for non-traditional art form I thought of the wonderful Melkorts4 on Tumblr, Instagram and DA. Great creations using The Sim 4 plus photoshop. Favorite characters focus on Melkor, Mairon, Manwë and other Valar. The designs are so unique. Gorgeous use of textures, styling. The facial features are just iconic. The video clip sequences were amazing.
